Step 1 : Open C:\ Drive and navigate to WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc folder.

Step 2 : Still, if you can’t understand, type this address C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc in your my computer address bar and press enter, you will redirected there automatically.

Step 3 : Now in \etc folder open the hosts in any text editor or in notepad.

Your current hosts file will be looks like as below.

Step 4 : Now do the changes as following screenshot in your hosts file.

simply, enter new two lines after the existing line 127.0.0.1 localhost.

new two lines to block facebook is,

127.0.0.1        www.facebook.com
127.0.0.1        facebook.com

Explanation : you can block any website on your computer by following this method. just use that website name with “www” prefix and without “www” prefix.

If you want to block xyz.com site then format will be,

127.0.0.1        www.xyz.com
127.0.0.1        xyz.com

The Search engine giant Google acquired Motorola mobility announced by CEO Larry page on Google official blog.  readers keep eyes on words Motorola mobility , it’s not “Motorola”.  as announced by Google in their press release that they acquired Motorola mobility which is part of Motorola. Motorola Mobility provides mobile accessories, Android tablets,Smart phones etc, but now it is part of Google.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA and LIBERTYVILLE, IL – AUGUST 15, 2011 –

Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) and Motorola Mobility Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: MMI) today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Google will acquire Motorola Mobility for $40.00 per share in cash, or a total of about $12.5 billion, a premium of 63% to the closing price of Motorola Mobility shares on Friday, August 12, 2011. The transaction was unanimously approved by the boards of directors of both companies.

The acquisition of Motorola Mobility, a dedicated Android partner, will enable Google to supercharge the Android ecosystem and will enhance competition in mobile computing. Motorola Mobility will remain a licensee of Android and Android will remain open. Google will run Motorola Mobility as a separate business.

Larry Page, CEO of Google, said, “Motorola Mobility’s total commitment to Android has created a natural fit for our two companies. Together, we will create amazing user experiences that supercharge the entire Android ecosystem for the benefit of consumers, partners and developers. I look forward to welcoming Motorolans to our family of Googlers.”

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including the receipt of regulatory approvals in the US, the European Union and other jurisdictions, and the approval of Motorola Mobility’s stockholders. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2011 or early 2012.

Finally, Google unveiled Game for Google+ users.  Google Announced this news on its official blog at 8/11/2011  on 12:49:00 PM. They have added lots of games in it. currently it seems that game for all Google+ users are not available.

I am not getting Game icon on Google+, What to do ?

Just wait for it to be added. because currently it’s not available for worldwide users, even the Google+ Project is still in beta mode. If you want to manually access the games page in Google+, open the link https://plus.google.com/games/ in your browser. You will get it if its available for you otherwise it will display error message .
